Privacy policy
Last updated 16 October 2026
Fendwise is a project of Inspire Grow Flourish Society, based in Brisbane, Australia. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We aim to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
Fendwise has not launched yet. Right now, the only personal information we collect is what you choose to give us when you join the waitlist:
- your email address
- your first name, if you choose to provide it
- how you heard about Fendwise, if you choose to tell us
If you email us, we will also have your email address and anything you include in your message.
We do not collect any banking or financial information through this website.
Why we collect it
We use your details only to:
- tell you when Fendwise is ready
- invite you to try early versions and ask for your feedback
- reply to messages you send us
- understand which of our activities help people find Fendwise
We will not sell your information, and we will not use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website:
- Tally collects and stores waitlist sign-ups. Tally stores data in Europe.
- Proton Mail handles email sent to and from fendwise.org.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and, like any web host, processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site securely.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this website, so your browser connects to Google's servers when the page loads.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia.
Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies or use tracking or analytics tools. The Tally sign-up form may use its own cookies to work properly.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until Fendwise launches, or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- remove you from the waitlist
- tell you what information we hold about you
- correct your details
Just email hello@fendwise.org.
Questions or complaints
If you have a question or concern about your privacy, please email hello@fendwise.org and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
When Fendwise launches, it will handle more information, and we will update this policy before that happens. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
